MCE BSB back on track with official test at Snetterton

The MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship returns to Snetterton this Wednesday (June 7) for an official test at the Norfolk circuit ahead of the next round of the season at Knockhill in ten days' time (June 16/17/18).

MCE BSB championship leaders JG Speedfit Kawasaki return to action with Leon Haslam and Luke Mossey, the team-mates current lock out the top two places in the overall standings after the opening three rounds with as many points separating them.

The Be Wiser Ducati team are back in action too; defending champion Shane 'Shakey' Byrne was victorious last year at the Norfolk circuit and he will be back on track alongside team-mate Glenn Irwin.

Honda Racing's Jason O'Halloran scored his first victory in MCE BSB at the track last season and he is joined by Dan Linfoot as Honda Racing bid to build on their first podium finish last time out at Oulton Park.

Lloyds British Moto Rapido Ducati's John Hopkins jets back to the UK for the test after time back home in America and he is gearing up to clock up the laps on the Panigale with Quattro Plant FS-3 Kawasaki's Billy McConnell and Suzuki contenders Taylor Mackenzie and Bradley Ray also hitting the testing trail.

Fresh from his World Superbike Championship top ten, Jake Dixon and the RAF Reserves Kawasaki team will be in action, as will Lloyd and Jones PR Racing's Jakub Smrz, Team WD-40 Kawasaki's Tommy Bridewell and James Westmoreland and Aaron Zanotti.
