750 Motor Club action at Snetterton this weekend

Monday, April 17 2017

The 750 Motor Club make their first visit to Snetterton of 2017 this weekend (22-23 April) featuring a wide range of grids.

Racing this weekend will be the 5Club Racing MX5 Cup, Civic Cup, Classic Stock Hatch, Clio 182 Championship, Club Enduro, Historic 750 Formula, Hot Hatch, M3 Cup Championship, RGB Championship, and Roadsports.

Honda fans will enjoy the Tegiwa Civic Cup incorporating Honda Civics built from 1990 to 2013 to tight regulations. The racing is becoming increasingly popular with spectators who are guaranteed to witness some exciting wheel-to-wheel combat.

Hatchbacks will be heavily represented, starting with the Demon Tweeks/Yokohama Stock Hatch and Classic Stock Hatch championships. Citroen Saxos and Peugeot 106s dominated last season, with the classic category featuring many 80s favourites including the Peugeot 205 GTi, Ford Fiesta XR2i, Vauxhall Nova GTE and Citroen AX GTi.

The Mk1 Mazda MX-5 is a legendary sports car and the MX5 Cup always offers superb racing with frenetic contests between drivers looking to make their way up the motorsport ladder.

There will be plenty of other tin-top action with MKII Renault Clios fighting it out on the Norfolk circuit, a championship notorious for its intense rivalries is expected to be full of drama from lights out to the chequered flag, whilst the Tegiwa M3 Cup has Championship status for 2017 and boasts a packed grid of BMWs set to battle it out in a one make formula designed for close racing.

Other highlights include the Disklok RGB Championship (roadgoing bike-engine cars) as well as a potentially intriguing CARTEK Roadsports Endurance race for tuned up production cars.

The paddock will be open throughout the event, allowing spectators to get closer to the cars as they're prepared for battle and meet the teams and drivers.

Tickets for the 750 Motor Championships are available online for £10 or on the gate for £15, with free entry for under-13s. For more information, please call 0843 453 9000 or click here.
